James Ray Monroe Jr."Roe"March 16, 1947 – March 4, 2025Mr. James Ray Monroe Jr. was born on March 16, 1947, to James and Lucy Monroe. Monroe or Roe as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, passed away on March 4, 2025.Monroe was attended Atkins High School. His employment history ended at Design Engineered Fabrication, but he spent much of his work history with The Pefferkorn Company and Famco Inc. In addition to his parents, James leaves behind to cherish his memories: his son, Dennis Cole, two grandchildren, Donte' and Kendall Cole, one great grandchild, Nile Cole, his loving sister Josephine Gamble and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. A public viewing will be held Minday March 10, 20225 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 11, 2025, at 12pm from Douthit's. The family will receive friends at 11:30am. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Service.
