Mr. Jerome Fredrick Talbert, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at his residence. He was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC where he graduated from Central High School. After graduating he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1977. He was proceeded in death by his parents Flora and Billy Thomas. A daughter LaTanja "Renae" Talbert and a grandson Omarion Donte Talbert. He is survived by the love of his life and spouse of 50 plus years Conester Dunlap. Three sons Jerome (Melisa) Dunlap, Jaworski Dunlap and Jonathan Dunlap; one daughter his side kick Tamica (Shaun) Talbert-Poston. Five grandkids one devoted grandson Anthony Donte' Williamson, Donte', Mariah, Isaiah and Aaliyah Dunlap. Two great grands Amisa Williamson and Zahki White. His oldest brother Melvin McCoy and his youngest brother and partner in crime Edger Bitting AKA Junebug. Two nephew Terry Lee AKA Lil Bit and Antonio Fries. One niece Jacintia Gladden. And a host of other relatives and friends. A public viewing will be Friday, December 3, 2021 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5pm until 6pm at Douthit's. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
