Jeryl Todd "Teddy" Jones made an entrance into our lives on July 22, 1976. God allowed him to stay with us for 46 years and 7 months then called him home on the evening of February 7, 2023.

Todd was the youngest son of George and Lorraine Jones.

He received his education in the WSFC Schools and later obtained an associate degree as an Electronic Technician. Todd enjoyed many types of music such as Gospel, Jazz, and "Old School" R&B.

Surviving loved ones are his father George W. Jones III and Mother Lorraine T. Jones. His brother, friend, and protector, DeJuan "DJ" Muhammad, sister in love Michelle Muhammad and special nephew and niece Tristan and Tyjah Muhammad, all of Winston Salem, NC. Mecca Muhammad (niece) of Illinois, Annette Rogers (half-sister), Chris and Wendell (nephews) and KayKay (niece) all of VA. Thelma Johnson, Carolyn White, Andrea Leach, Renae May (Aunts), Uncle Isaiah (Janet) Timberlake, all of Winston Salem, NC. Faye Scales (Aunt), Bryan (Vickie) Jones (Uncle) of Walkertown, NC. Uncle Mark (Kimberly) Jones of Atlanta GA, and Great Aunt Shirley Dodd of Winston Salem, NC.

There is a host of very special cousins, family and friends who are going to miss "Teddy."

Todd "Teddy" was a kind, caring, and loving person who would do whatever he could to help others and he had trust and faith in God. He often said he knew he made it this far in life by the grace and mercy of God.

Todd had a plan and was excited about returning to the fitness center to try and get in shape in order to have a better quality of life. God had other plans for Todd and now he is in the best shape ever.

In keeping with Todd's wishes, his body will be cremated. A public viewing will be held Wednesday February 15, 2023, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1pm from Douthit's. The family will receive friends at 12:30pm. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Service.
