Mrs. Juanita Lash Anderson, 85 of Winston Salem, NC was called to her heavenly home on 10/17/2022 at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born January 17, 1937 in Forsyth County. She was the daughter of the late Clinton Lash and the late Annie Bell Lash. Juanita was preceded in death also by her sister Frances Lash and her brothers Clinton Lash Jr., Frank Lash and Raymond Lash.

She was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Winston Salem, NC where she was a member of the Seniors Ministry. She retired from Forsyth Medical Center Mother Baby Floor as a unit secretary after 35 years of service.

Cherishing the memories that she left behind are her husband of 36 years Geter Anderson: one son, Rodney Lash and his wife Louise Lash. She also leaves three grandchildren: Miranda (Michael) Jordan of Ft. Bragg, NC, Brianna Lash, and Cova Jones of Winston Salem, NC. She also leaves two greatgrandchildren Lailani Mills, 6 months and Alaina Jordan, 3 months whom she loved dearly prior to her passing. She leaves one sister, Dorothy (Sam) Johnson and one brother, Bennitt (Gene) Lash of Winston Salem. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A public viewing will be held Thursday October 20, 2022, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit. Funeral services will be held Friday October 21, 2022, at 12pm from Galilee Missionary Baptist Church and interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 11:30am. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
