In the beginning, Kurtis Le'Grant Mobley Jr 29, also known as Bear Bear transitioned into eternal peace on October 10, 2021. Kurtis was born February 2,1992 in Winston -Salem. N.C. to Latarsa Thames, Kurtis Le'Grant Mobley, and Latravis Shanard Fisher Green. He was a great son and even better man. A pillar of the community. He was loved by the whole city with his great big heart and beautiful smile. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Curtis Lee Mobley and Paul M. Moore. His fathers Kurtis Le'Grant Mobley and Latravis Shanard Fisher Green. He leaves to cherish his memory grandparents Shelia Thames, Paul McCloud, Jerry Harrison, Vanessa Mobley and Enid Fisher Green. His fiancee Antwonette Blackburn, children Angel Bryan(12), Kalayla Mobley(11),Noah Blake Mobley(7),Amani Love Mobley(2),and K3(8mos). Siblings John Farley Jr, Shaquille Thames, Najah Thames, Bethany Thames, Kristlyn Mobley, Shantaphea Destiny Sanders, Chris AKA Young Bgz and a host of other sisters and brothers. His favorite aunties Teresa Thames, Johnetta Thames, Karena Mobley, and Mimi Fisher. Favorite uncles John John Thames, Shane St. Claire, and Big Mobley . I raised a great man loved by many. Bigger than life a legend Revolutionary. A public viewing will be held Monday, October 18, 2021 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 12:30 pm from St. John Baptist Church and interment will follow in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at 12:00pm at the church. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
