Linda Darnell Gentry Graves, age 71, went home to be with Lord on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Accordius Healthcare after a lengthy illness.
Linda was born January 27, 1947 in Winston-Salem NC to the late Lucille Gentry and the late Wallace Gentry, Sr. She attended Carver High School.
Linda loved to read, watch westerns, and attending Church when she was able, of course lets not forget she wore her WIGS!.. She was a gentle, soft spoken sweet spirited lady. Most of all she loved GOD, her children, grandchildren and family. She was married to the late Fred Graves of South Carolina.

She is survived by her son Dana Ray Gentry, Marshall Denny Gentry (deceased). Grandchildren, Felicia Royster, Marcus Morrison, Maurice Morrison, Shemecia Gentry and Marie Gentry. Great Grandchildren, Deven Royster, Tameea Beaty. Linda was born into a large family with nine brothers: Wallace Jr, Thomas, Harold, John William, Harvey Leon, James Palmer, Harry Roy, Everett Troy and Michael Steven. Seven sisters: Ella Mae, Viola, Louise, Druscilla, Earline (Tricia) and Joanne. Host of nieces,nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 from the chapel of Douthit's. Family visitation will begin at 12pm, service will follow at 12:30pm. Mrs. Graves may be viewed on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 2pm-6pm at Douthit Funeral Services.
