Michael Lane Bush, affectionately called "Papa Ludi" was called home on November 10th, 2020. He passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home, by love and family. Mike was born on July 15th, 1957 in Sanford, NC to the late Frank and Theldora Bush. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his one and only devoted child Tiffany Elane Bush (Johnathan Sr.), and her 3 brothers: Michael Paige, Bobby Paige and Albert Beasley, whom he played a pivotal role in raising; and his 3 grandkids: Tanajah "Ludi" Morgan-Bush, Ebony Morgan, and Johnathan Scott Jr. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Theldora Bush; brothers Jose Griffin (Barbara), Derrick Bush, Robert Bush Sr., Jake McInctyre, and Frank J. Bush Jr. (Geneva); sisters Wilma J. Lyerly (Gerald) Shirley A. Bush (T.C.), and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mike leaves to cherish his 4 brothers Don Bush (Barbara) and Danny Bush (Andra) of Orlando Florida, Tommy Bush (Susie) Steve Bush (Irene); 3 sisters Toni Bush, Faye Spatcher (Roger) all of Winston Salem, NC, and April McInctyre of Sanford, NC; an aunt Ruby Carter "Hammer" of Richmond, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Although a "Jack of All Trades," for over 40 years Mike painted the world with laughter, was the life of EVERY party, and shined his light on everyone he touched. The family comedian: "Alright, I gotta joke for y'all, kids leave the room!" "There was a black man, a white man, and a jew man…," or how about the "twenty sick sheep"? And just how did "that man leave town on a Sunday, stay gone for 3 days, and come back on that same Sunday"? He also had a passion for gardening, planting anything from beautiful flowers to squash and green tomatoes - which he'd then use to make a banging meal that would give everyone the it is !A true Man of God, the Word was instilled in him. As quick as he could tell a joke, he could quote and interpret the Bible just as easy. To know Mike was to truly love him, and we rejoice in knowing that he is resting well in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
