Michael DeJuan Smith Jr was born October 3,2005 in Winston Salem ,Nc to Michael D Smith Sr . and Shakiesha A Curry. Michael passed away peacefully at Baptist hospital August 15, 2023

​Michael was born and raised in Winston Salem, Nc where he excelled in AYFCL with the paufftown packers and the Gray hounds Michael would have been attending Parkland High school this fall to obtain his high school diploma Michael enjoyed making music and hanging out with friends and family and anything he could be competitive in

​Michael was preceded in death by Myrtle D. Curry ( great grandmother) Shantisa A Smith (Aunt) and Julius T Gibbs (uncle)

​He leaves to cherish his memories his parents Michael D smith Sr and Shakiesha Curry (Christopher Fisher Sr) his siblings : Arionna Smith , Micari Smith(Ka'son) , Sataeveion Smith, SaKayla Curry, Khaleel Minton, Khaleek Minton, Xavier Smith, Christopher Fisher Jr, Makayla Morgan and his Grandparents Willie and Denise Campbell, Charles and Christina Valentine and a host of many aunts uncles and cousins family and friends and his loving gf Na'naryia Broadway. A public viewing will be held Thursday August 24, 2023 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Friday August 25, 2023 at 1pm from Douthit's. The family will receive friends at 12:30pm. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
