Michael Anthony Thomas was born on March 30, 1959, in Winston-Salem, NC, to Garthen Little and Carolyn Thomas Harrington Jenkins. He departed this earthly life at home on Friday, May 23, 2025.
After graduating from West Forsyth High School, Michael served in the U.S. Army. Following his military service, he worked in various jobs throughout his life and eventually retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Garthen Little and Carolyn Thomas Harrington Jenkins; and brother Stefan Harrington.
Michael is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Cynthia M. Thomas of Winston-Salem, NC; his son, Dewayne McLaurin, his daughter, Michelle Thomas; and grandson, Kaiden McLaurin.
At the family's request, no formal services will be held. We sincerely thank everyone who has extended themselves to our beloved family during this time.
