Obituary

Minister Johnny Ray Mack of Winston-Salem NC, entered eternal life July 14, 2024. With his loving wife and sons by his side. He was born September 25, 1956 to Fannie and the late Revern Henry Mack in York County SC. He was the oldest of five siblings.
On July 30, 1985 he was united in marriage to Jennifer Letha Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his father Rev. Henry Mack. and father in law John Dee Taylor.
He was definitely one of a kind man. That didn't meet a stranger in the paths of life. He was a graduate of East Forsyth High School. He joined the US Army serving our country for 10 years then joining the work force and accomplishing many goals. He later retired from Kaba lico. Shortly after God called him to be and ordained minster when accepting his calling for his purpose in life he begin ministering to all churches that he was invited to for 22 years. Spreading the love and word of God has been his duty every since.
He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. left to cherish his memories is his loving devoted wife Jennifer Letha Mack two sons Tyree Mack of Winston-Salem and Lamar Mack of Winston-Salem one Granddaughter Ava Mack. Mother Fannie Mack of Kernesville NC and Mother in law Mattie Gearldine Taylor of Pilot Mtn. One brother Mark Anthony (Patina) Mack of Kernesville NC Four sisters Shennetta M Robinson of Winston Salem NC, Cynthia (Charles) Moore of Winston Salem NC, Carolyn Daniels of Richmond VA, Hennerita Hodge of Winston Salem, NC
Four Brother in laws Johnny Ray Taylor of Winston Salem NC, Michael Taylor of Winston Salem NC, Fitzgearld Taylor of Pilot Man. NC, Kim Taylor of Winston Salem, NC four sister in laws Marseline Gartrell of Winston Salem NC, Wanda Taylor Of Pilot Mtn NC Linda Taylor of Pilot Mtn. NC, Sabrina Taylor of Winston Salem NC.A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday July 19, 2024, at11:00am am from Galilee Missionary Baptist Church and interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends10:30 am. There will be no public viewing. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
