Mrs. Nancy Williams "Mrs. Nan", 62, was born on March 20, 1960, to Joe (deceased) and Betty Bennett of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Nancy transitioned peacefully to her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
Nancy was a Team Lead at Arbor Acres Retirement home. She embodied the true meaning of conqueror and led by love. She was a woman that always placed everyone needs above her own and showed the highest form of selfless-service short of giving her life. She was God's faithful servant, she understood this from the time she was born, and took it on with grace. She was a humble woman that made your dreams her dreams so you never had to fear. When she had your back, you knew failure was not an option. Nancy had a protective nature about her and immeasurable strength that only God could provide. In life, God sends Angels down that help you get through this journey called life to remind you of his omnipresent and all-knowing capabilities. She was one of his Angels that he gifted us because she touched each and everyone of you in a powerful way. The Lord spoke and said to Nancy as he received her: Well done, good and faithful servant! She was likely trying to stay but it was time for her to spread her wings. Caring and loving for others was her natural embedded gift. She loved to see others smile and thrive. Nancy was an Angel that devoted her time to her friends and family. Angels are always on duty and ours just changed their home base.
During her early years of life, she worked at Hanes Hosiery and Thomasville Furniture Store. Many of these testimonies built the foundation displaying her strength and solid work ethic. She touched many people, which made lasting impressions and lifelong friends.
She leaves to cherish her memories and carry on her legacy, her devoted family including her loving husband of 38 years Letman Williams Jr of Winston-Salem, NC ; three sons, Michael Bennett of Carrollton, VA; Letman (Mary) Williams III of Raleigh, NC; Jasper Williams of Winston-Salem, NC; three daughters, Sharina Clark of Carrollton, VA; Tacarra (Timothy) Williams of Winston-Salem, NC; Ester (Telvin) Williams of Winston-Salem, NC; four brothers, Jonathan (Janice) Bennett of Winston-Salem, NC; David (Telissa) Bennett of Winston-Salem Charles (Trudy) Bennett of Winston-Salem, NC; Harold Bennett of Winston-Salem, NC; two sisters, Jessie Bennett of Winston-Salem, NC; Patricia (Marion) Simmons of Winston-Salem, NC; fifteen grandchildren, one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends.
