Nicholas Shepard left this world far too soon at the age of 24, after a tragic car accident on July 12, 2025. Nick was born August 27, 2000 and he will be missed every day by his parents, Rodney and Jessica Shepard, his sister, Katelyn Williams (Rodney), his niece, Juliette Williams, his uncle, Gerald Shepard (Dana), and his cousins. He also had his Hope Community Church family, a huge group of loyal friends and extended family who loved him deeply. While his time with us was too short, we can rejoice knowing he is Heaven with his Nana, Linda Samuels. Nick made a huge impact on the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be cherished forever.
From the moment he arrived, Nick filled our lives with laughter, adventure, and a lot of love. As a child, he woke up early with a LOT of energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity about how things worked. He absolutely loved taking things apart and putting them back together in many, many different ways. Nick was so smart and that childhood curiosity stayed with him. He became a self-taught expert on many different topics. Whether it was work, food, music, or games, Nick either loved things or hated them. There was no middle ground. He felt the same way about people. The people that he loved, he was fiercely loyal to. So many of his wonderful friends have reached out to the family to share what an incredible friend Nick was to them and how much they will all miss him.
To people who didn't know him well, he was quiet but if you knew him well and got him talking about some of his favorite things like specialty cars (especially his beloved Mustang), WWE wrestling, fantasy trading cards, video games, his favorite foods, the beach, hiking trails, and his niece you might as well sit down because he was going to talk for a while! He had such an incredible sense of humor, a beautiful smile, and such a great laugh.
