Mrs. Patricia Ann Steele-Blair was born to Ida Mae Steele and Thomas Durham Jr, born 06/04/1949 in New London, Connecticut. Mrs. Blair received her education at Atkins High School. She was married on 12/14/1968. From this union a daughter, Felisa Michelle Blair. She worked at North Carlina Baptist Hospital for 34 years, retired as certified technician. She joined St. Stephens Baptist Church in 1970 under the late J.R. Samuels, where she was a member of the usher board, nurse's board, served as assistant secretary for the Sunday School Department, and was a faithful member. She later returned to New Zion Baptist Church under late Rev. Kirby, current pastor, Vernon Brown. 05/06/2021, God decided for this child to come home. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, and neighbor. She likes to see good in everyone and will apologize if she hurt your feelings. Patricia Blair is preceded in death by parents Ida Steele, and Thomas Durham Jr, stepmother Bessie Durham, grandparents Lula and Thomas Durham Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory of her loving husband of 52 years children Felisa Blair, one son Thomas Durham, three grandchildren: Ivory Simmons, Jasmine Durham, and Thomas K Durham. A public viewing will be held Friday, May 14, 2021 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11:30 am from Douthit's. The family will receive friend at 11:00am and interment will follow in Garden of Memory in Walkertown. Arrangements are are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
