On Thursday, June 24th, 2021, Heaven welcomed our dear Mrs. Patricia Dianne Williams, 71, into her eternal rest. Patricia, affectionately known as Ma Duke, Sis, Trish, B-Bone, Aunt Pitty, Granny Indiana, and Mrs. Pat, began her life's journey August 28, 1949, in Winston Salem, NC, to the late James Charles Miller and Elizabeth Catherine Miller. She was a member of Rising Ebenezer Baptist Church. She earned her GED in 1975 and furthered her education at Forsyth Technical Community College, receiving an Associate Degree in Registered Technologist Radiography in 1981. She worked as an X-Ray Technologist at Forsyth Hospital for many years. Once she retired, she was able to enjoy some of her favorite hobbies that included vegetable gardening, nurturing her plants, and taking care of her goldfish. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Williams; sister, Catherine C Johnson (Robert); and granddaughter, Amber Carter. Left to cherish her memory are her loving three children, Bobby Earl Mills; David Lee Mills; devoted daughter, Pamela Slade (John); special grandson, Jon Slade; granddaughter, Shatora Carter; sisters, Carol Cousar (William), Rev. Linda Beal (Marion), Joyce Harrell; brother, James Miller (Mary), all of Winston Salem, NC; and a host of family and friends. A public viewing will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral Services will held Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 1pm from Douthit's. The family will receive friends at 12:30pm Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
