Patricia Yvonne Myers was born to Francis Scales Manns, Sr. and Alease Eaves Manns on January 1, 1957, and died unexpectedly on December 6, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Loretta Manns.
Patricia attended Carver High School and East Forsyth High School graduating in 1975. In school, she played the clarinet and sang in the chorus. She was employed at Baptist Hospital and worked in the medical field for over 30 years.
Patricia enjoyed interior decorating, at which she excelled, and loved to host dinner parties. She was a consummate makeup artist. She also loved to sing and loved music. She adored her grandchildren and often volunteered at their schools.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Radford K. Myers; a son, Radford K. Myers, Jr.; three sisters, Tara Mattie Manns, of Philadelphia, PA; Mary Oliver, of Winston-Salem, NC; and Alease (Karim) Cary, of Kernersville, NC; one brother, Francis Scales (Kelly) Manns, Jr, of Winston-Salem, NC; her beloved grandchildren, Haley Williamson, Kaidan Myers and Harmony Myers; special friends Phyllis Brown, Pat Bullock, Robin Epps, and Rose Boone, as well as a host of relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Friday December 16, 2022, at 12:00pm from Union Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at 11:30am, There will be no public viewing. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
