Mrs. Ruby Lee Goodson of Holland Homes passed away Sunday July 27, 2025. She was born April 19, 1945, to the Ruby and Aron Bush. She retired from Forsyth Memorial Hospital. She was a faithful member of Dellabrook Church. She was a member of the Golden Crown Senion Club. Mrs. Goodson was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Sonya Bush and a brother and three sisters. Left to cherish her memories is one son, Michael Goodson of the city, Two sisters Claudine Perkins and Annie Corley of New York. One brother Bennie Bush of the city. A special friend Cheryle Philson and her caregiver Margaret Ross. A host of niece and nephew and friends. A public viewing will be held Thursday August 7, 2025, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Friday August 8. 2025 12pm from Douthit's and interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 11:30am. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
