Hoyle-Ford—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ObituaryIn the early morning hours of August 5, 2024, Willie James Hoyle passed away peacefully at the Mill Creek Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Winston Salem, NC at the age of 73 years old. He was born to the late John Son Hoyle and Carrie Gwyn Hoyle in Winston- Salem, North Carolina on November 20, 1950.Willie Hoyle was educated in the public schools of Winston Salem/ Forsyth County. Willie worked as a brick mason and construction worker and loved what he did until his health failed him. Willie was a member of First Baptist Church of Winston Salem and accepted the Lord later in his life as a member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church located in Winston Salem, North Carolina. In addition to his parents, John and Carrie Hoyle, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Faye Hoyle-Gilliam and Jeanette Hoyle- Walker and his brothers Ray Hoyle, Delafayette Hoyle Sr, and Donald Hoyle.Willie Hoyle leaves to cherish his memories his children, Willette Gambrell, Natasha Gambrell, and Armentrice Abbitt, his bonus children, Contina Gambrell, Lesley Gambrell Fuller, Colleen Gambrell-Hyman, his grandchildren Arteria Torbit, Howard Torbit Jr (Melanie), USMC Marine Warren G Torbit, Dezmonda Abbitt, Troy Abbitt, Emanuel Abbitt, Jarius Harrison, twins Jordan and Jaylen Abbitt, and Mariah Abbitt, his sisters, Rev. Virginia Wofford( Benny), Rev. Arnette L. Ford, Deborah Hoyle, Patricia Hoyle, his brothers, W.F. Muhammad, Keith Hoyle, a favored sister-in-law Marie Hoyle and a host of extended family members, nieces and nephews. A public viewing will be held Monday August 12, 2024, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 13 2024, at 11:00 am from Douthit's and interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 10:30am Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
