Willie T. Marshall known as "Will Gee" passed away on July 5th, 2023 after a battle of long illness. Will was born on May 10th, 1968 to the late Willie B. Marshall and Burnell G. Marshall. He was a resident of Winston-Salem, NC until his untimely passing.
Will attended Robert Glenn High School where he was in ROTC, in which he loved. Along with other activities. He graduated in 1987. He was a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan! He loved fishing, watching football, listening to music, going to the beach, and spending time with his family. Before Will's health started failing, his joy was taking care of his special needs clients.
Will proceeds his brother, Willie H. Marshall, sister Francis Marshall, aunt JoAnn Spates, and uncle Tom Gordon.
Will leaves to cherish his beloved memories, his loving and devoted wife, Demetria Marshall. His six children, Brandon, Brittany (Nigel) Wilson, Labria, Will, Jeremiah, and Willow Marshall. One grandson Elijah Marshall. Two sisters, Sandra (Cletis) Marshall, (two nieces, Shanita and Eliza, two nephews, Purnell and Howard Jr.) Brenda (Carlos) Williams, (two nieces, MaKenzee and Kaylie, two nephews, Kaydenn and Kyrie). A devoted nephew Gregory McCall, a niece Mary Marshall, a nephew William C. Marshall and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 22, 2023, at 2pm from Douthit's. There will be no public viewing. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
